Big Rig Crash in Lake Los Angeles Ends Fatal

One woman died today from injuries she received in a truck accident in Lake Los Angeles. She was driving a Jeep when she crashed into a big rig at around 6 a.m, authorities report. The location of the truck accident was 170th street and Rawhide Avenue, east of the city of Palmdale.

The woman involved in the truck accident was 40 years old. Her name has not yet been release, but she was identified by authorities. The woman was driving by herself, but no reports have been made on whether or not the driver of the big rig was injured in the Lake LA crash.

Big Rig Strikes Young Los Angeles Brothers

A Los Angeles County truck yard this past weekend was the site of a tragic big rig accident that took two young lives, ages 4 and 15. 15-year-old Joel Flores and his younger brother, 4-year-old Alexander, were riding along a moving truck in Wilmington when they fell off, according to police reports. Reportedly, the two boys were playing in the truck’s rear, seemingly in the cargo area.

After falling, both boys ended in the path of their father’s truck, a big rig tractor trailer. Unaware of the fall, the father advanced the truck towards them, unknowingly striking them.  The older brother, Joel, was pronounced dead at the scene of the truck accident. Young Alexander was transported to hospital in Los Angeles, but unfortunately died later that night from injuries sustained in the accident.

The tragic accident was not intentional and the father is not thought to be at fault. The site of the accident, a Wilmington truck washing facility, is located on a grounds off East Lomita Boulevard past Wilmington Avenue.

Man Is Thrown Onto Freeway In Long Beach Accident

One man is dead after his pickup truck was thrown from a bridge onto a Long Beach freeway. The vehicle plunged off the a bridge over top of the Freeway, just barely missing two cars in the 45 foot fall. The 38-year-old man died of head and chest injuries at around 6pm on Wednesday, only a short period after the Long Beach accident itself occurred. According to Long Beach Fire Department, the pickup truck was found on Freeway 710 with two occupants trapped within. Firefighters were successful tin removing both occupants using the Jaws of Life, and an injured female passenger was taken to a hospital though the man died at the scene. Northbound onramps were closed while officials took care of the accident.

A strand of fortunate timing saved this already unfortunate accident from involving additional vehicles, making it a single vehicle accident rather than a more serious one. Truck Fire In Norwalk Was A Stolen Vehicle

It seems a truck that was set on fire early yesterday morning in Norwalk was actually a stolen vehicle. At around 1 am this morning, the vehicle ignited on Hoxie Avenue near Freeway 605, apparently set on fire. firefights responded to a call to the truck fire, which was highly intensified at the time of their arrival. Truck Crashes Into Long Beach Cafe

A big rig truck in Long Beach made its mark on a Long Beach cafe after crashing into the storefront, causing a major mess and property damage while also injuring the truck driver. Following the crash, the Long Beach Fire Department reported to the scene of the truck accident to find the truck already backed from the storefront. The 4.am dispatch from the Long Beach Fire Department also found that, other than the driver, no other people in the cafe were put at risk.

According to reports, the only person in the vicinity of the crash would have been the cashier who, fortunately, was not at the register when the crash occurred. The Long Beach fire department did search for possible injured under the wreckage, but no victims were found. Other patrons of the cafe were elsewhere in the building. Truck Accident Injures 5, blocks off I-5

After crashing into the median of Interstate 5 in Burbank, a big truck caused the blocking of several lanes on the Los Angeles highway in a substantial truck accident. The big rig truck swerved into the median highway divider while traveling north, crushing nearly 14 feet of the wall.

According to California Highway Patrol , materials such as diesel fuel, debris, and other vehicles made for the blockup of three out of four southbound lanes and a northbound lane as well. The truck accident has backed up traffic in the vicinity of four miles surrounding the site of the truck accident.

The truck accident also included seven additional vehicles, where five people were victims of injuries. Nothing was reported regarding the status of these injuries.

Intense Fire Causes Close of Freeway And Death Of Driver

A fire located at the entrance to 710 Freeway from the 91 Freeway has forced officials to close down that area of the freeway, which will limit many drivers in the Long Beach area. After yesterday’s truck accident and fire, the road must be repaired before engaging freeway traffic once again.

The truck, a tanker truck with 8,000 gallons of gasoline cargo, was the object of a lawyer fire yesterday evening. As the truck driver attempted to merge northbound on the 710 freeway, the truck hit a guard rail, which rolled the truck onto its side as the truck caught fire. According to California Highway patrol, Unfortunately, the injuries caused by the fire in this truck accident lead to death for the truck driver, a 51-year-old.

Caltran engineers plan to complete inspections and repairs soon, while all traffic will be redirected via Long Brach and Alondra boulevards. Until repairs are completed, all traffic can expect to travel via this detour.
