Man Killed When Hit By Fedex Truck

A middle aged man was killed when the driver of a Fedex Truck lost control of his vehicle on Tuesday morning. A 51-year-old, John Winter was a pedestrian on East Park Avenue at the time of the accident, when the truck struck and killed him at around 8:30. Witnesses said the Fedex truck was traveling at high speeds, and then seemed to lose control and ram into vehicles on the road. After causing damage to several vehicles, the truck proceeded to hit the pedestrian. The man died upon impact from the Fedex truck.

The driver, unidentified, was interviewed following the accident, in which he was one of three injured. The driver in one of the vehicles that was hit, a woman , Bonnie Goetz, was also a victim of injuries in the accident. According to reports, the woman is now at home but sustained head injuries and neck injuries during the pedestrian accident.The pedestrian accident remains under investigation, but police have determined that neither drugs nor drunk driving were a factor in the accident.

One Dead In San Bernardino County Crash

The victim of a San Bernardino county crash, who has now been identified as an Escondido man, died in the car accident the took place at 2:15 am on Interstate 15. Erick Lee Haukaas was driving northbound on Interstate 15 when his car drove off the roadway, overturning and ejecting him from the vehicle. Haukaas was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where he was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries received in the car accident. Young Los Angeles Man Dies In Car Accident

An early morning car accident on Tuesday claimed the life of a 19-year old man, who died when his car crashed in the Harbor 110 Freeway. The Los Angeles man, identified as Henry Bonilla Vinicio, was speeding down the 110 freeway alongside another car when the two vehicles crashed, resulting in both drivers losing control of their vehicles. After losing control, Vinicio crashed into a concrete wall on the side of the road. Following the car accident which occurred at 4:05 am on northbound 110 freeway, Vinicio was transfered to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Fullerton Man Dies In Car Accident Preventing Suicide

A Fullerton man called a “good samaritan” by his neighbors proved his reputation true after an attempt to save a suicide, which resulted in a car accident that killed him. The man, who is identified to be in his 50s, spotted the woman standing in the middle of West Orangethorpe avenue in what appeared to be a suicide. The woman was reportedly screaming at passing motorists to hit and kill her, police said.

After seeing the woman, aged 21 at the time of the accident, the man rushed to the street and successfully pulled her from danger. The man was hit minutes later when trying to report the suicide incident to a police officer. A witness called 911. According to Fullerton police, the man was taken to the Irvine Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, and was listed in “extremely critical condition” before dying later.  The woman who the man saved fled the scene, but has been caught by Fullerton police as the accident remains under investigation.

Eaton Canyon Hiker Falls To His Death

A man in Pasadena reportedly fell to his death during a hike near the Eaton Canyon Nature Center. According to reports, the man killed in the accident was aged 21 at the time of the accident, which occurred while he was hiking with a 17-year-old friend. The man fell nearly 200 feet to his death. Lisa Dederian, a Pasadena Fire Department spokeswoman, reports that a 911 call regarding the incident was made from a cell phone.

The hiker’s body was transported down from the fall by stretcher, at which point helicopters flew the hiker from the Eaton canyon.
