Amtrak Bus Ignites Into Flames Near Los Angeles

An Amtrak bus ran and operated by Coach America ignited on Friday near Los Angeles, just northwest of the city on Interstate 5. Flames from the bus expanded into the brush of a nearby mountainous area. According to reports, local firefighters were already involved in a finer in the same as the bus fire erupted. Karina Romero, spokesman of Amtrak headquarters in Washing DC, said that all passengers were removed in advance and weren’t injured in the fire. The bus pulled to the roadside, releasing passengers before the bust actually ignited. Authorities that arrived at the scene were compelled to shutdown Los Angeles Interstate 5 traffic in order to battle the fire.

Unknown factors sparked a two-alarm fire at an East County house on Friday, where an elderly homeowner received minor burn injuries. Los Angeles Brush Fire Shuts Down Roadways

A brush fire that raged through 80 acres of Los Angeles shut down Sepulveda Boulevard and nearby onramps and offramps. The fire, which originated from an accident with a brush clearance crew, required the Los Angeles Fire Department to report to the scene following the Wednesday afternoon accident, which fire officials reported as 90 percent contained that night. Truck Crashes Into Long Beach Cafe

A big rig truck in Long Beach made its mark on a Long Beach cafe after crashing into the storefront, causing a major mess and property damage while also injuring the truck driver. Los Angeles Firefighters Battle Santa Clarita Fire
