Van Nuys was the site of a car accident on Wednesday that injured 2 LAPD officers, authorities reported. The accident occurred late at night and may have involved drunk driving or driving under the influence of another drug.

Cahuenga Accident Involving Nine Cars Injures Four

A multi-car pileup accident on 101 Freeway in Hollywood on Sunday morning has caused injuries to at least four, reports say. The accident included as many as nine vehicles total, at least three of which were damaged in the crash.

The multi-car accident took place on the southbound side of the road at around 2:09 a.m., starting as a two car crash near Cahuenga Boulevard in the Cahuenga Pass. California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Fire Department reported to the accident soon after to find several minor injuries and three damaged vehicles.

It was also suggested that the accident may have included a pedestrian.

The southbound lanes were shut down for a short span following the multi-car accident.

Long Beach LAPD Officer Injured In Motorcycle Hit and Run Accident

Car Accident at Home Follows Police Chase

Early on Friday, a police chase got out of hand when a car being pursued crashed into a house at Pasadena. After the crash took place, the car’s removal from the home also caused a gas leak and resulting evacuation.

No One Injured When Car Hits House In Woodland Hills

Thursday proved unfortunately unusual for a Woodland Hills family whose house was struck by an errant SUV driving down their road. The family was awaken by the vehicle, which crashed into the house early that morning.
