UPDATE: LAPD Central Traffic Watch Command 213-972-1853. --- This morning around 8am, a large yellow school bus struck and killed a woman who was walking through a crosswalk in Westlake, California just north of Los Angeles. Police are investigating the accident and believe that the driver had just dropped off its passengers at an Earth Day event nearby.

A Foothill Transit bus collided with several vehicles on Monday, injuring six people -- one critically.
The accident happened in the carpool and bus lane of the westbound San Bernardino 10 Freeway where it connects with the Hollywood 101 Freeway, near downtown Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Fire Department announced.
The Foothill Transit bus is confirmed to be a part of the MTA Fleet of buses.
As the rain continues, more news of auto accidents including this MTA bus accident leaves eight injured in Southern California.
Earlier today, an MTA bus collided with another vehicle and then crashed into Donut World near USC. There were no passengers on the bus, however, eight individuals dining at the donut shop have been hospitalized; one with serious injuries.
