56-year-old Frederick Joseph Uhler died today as a result of a motorcycle accident in Bakersfield, California. Uhler, who was riding on his motorcycle was struck and killed by a car that ran a red light at the intersection of White Lane and Stine Road.
The driver of the car was 18-year-old, Britney Coats.
In a press release by the Bakersfield Police Department, the details of the accident were noted as follows:
The decedent was the helmeted operator of a motorcycle that was turning left on Stine Road from White Lane. A female operator of a truck failed to stop at a red light and struck the decedent at that intersection. He was taken to Kern Medical Center where he died shortly after from his injuries.
