A twisting road with only two lanes could have come into play in a crash that took place in the San Bernardino County mountains on Sunday. A woman identified as Crystal Noreen Salinas, 23, was killed in the accident. Local authorities stated that Salinas was in a Dodge Charger driven by someone else, on Swarthout Canyon Road on Saturday afternoon. The driver, who is also 23, was attempting to pass another vehicle on the road but crashed into another car, a Suburban, in a head-on collision. The driver was also injured, though not fatally, as well as family in the Suburban, who suffered minor injuries.

If you have been the victim in an accident, particularly one ending in a fatality, you may want to take the time to contact a lawyer for help. In a crash like this one, road design defects just may be a legal concern, and are therefore important to consider.
