A Whittier pedestrian was hit while attempting to cross a street Friday morning. The woman suffered injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident, which ended fatal as she died later in the day. The pedestrian accident occurred at around 6:30 on Beaty Avenue, where the woman is reported to have been hit by a pickup truck. The driver that struck the unnamed Whittier pedestrian did not suffer injuries in the pedestrian accident.
