The victim of a San Bernardino county crash, who has now been identified as an Escondido man, died in the car accident the took place at 2:15 am on Interstate 15. Erick Lee Haukaas was driving northbound on Interstate 15 when his car drove off the roadway, overturning and ejecting him from the vehicle. Haukaas was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where he was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries received in the car accident. Investigation of the San Bernardino county car accident is ongoing.
