Hit-and-Run Driver Kills Man in Anaheim

A 40-year-old man was struck and killed by a car in Anaheim while attempting to cross the street Saturday night.  The hit-and-run accident occurred at 11:00 p.m. near 2675 W. Cerritos Avenue Saturday evening. The victim remains unidentified and the driver fled the scene. A passing motorist called the accident in but was unable to give the police any information on the victim or his identity.

The man was pronounced dead at the UCI Medical Center in Orange and is to date, unclaimed by friends or family.  Police describe him as 5 foot 3 weighing 170 pounds with tattoos on his fingers and chest.  They urge anyone to come forward with information.
