A multi-vehicle accident in Westminster culminated in a fire and injuries on the northbound I-405 Freeway at Bolsa Chica Road. The collision occurred at 9:15 a.m., Monday morning and involved a White Dodge Avenger, pickup truck and BMW. Witnesses reported a fire at the scene as well as some visible injuries.
Although these injuries were reported, their extent were not known at press time. An ambulance was called to the multiple car accident location, but it is not known if anyone was transported to a local hospital. Traffic slowed as authorities tried to assess the scene.
