According to authorities, a 45-year-old Big Bear resident was struck and killed this morning by an oncoming train. Though details at press time are sketchy, authorities indicate that Johnny Rogers was hit near Anderson and Stewart Streets north of the Loma Linda Medical Center.  While on the scene of the collision, Mr. Rogers succumbed to his injuries expiring at 1:05 a.m.

There are numerous factors that may have contributed to this unfortunate man’s demise.  One of them could be his own error in judgment  in not looking out for the train.  If on the other hand, the appropriate train signals were not operating as they should have, surviving family embers could have a wrongful death lawsuit on their hands.

Such a case would have numerous complicated ends and out that would need the skilled expertise of a legal professional.  If you have lost a loved one to a similar type of tragedy, contact us for a free consultation and make the responsible party pay for their negligence.
