A reportedly lost hiker was rescued in Santa Clarita Wednesday, nearly four days after he was scheduled to return from the Angeles National Forest in Los Angeles county. Santa Clarita’s Search and Rescue team set out to find Lee after receiving a call from his girlfriend, who was in contact with Lee via cell phone before he became lost completely. The search was initiated 11 om, as ground crews and a helicopter team rummaged the area in hopes of finding the lost hiker. The 60-year-old man, Donald Lee, was rescued from a location near the Cienaga Campground east of Golden State Freeway. According to Santa Clarita authorities, Lee was dehydrated at the time of his rescue. Lee also sustained injuries to his knee after being lost.
